Description:
This is an original Ford 3-speed manual transmission for various early 1950's passenger car applications. This transmission is in good structural condition with no cracks or breaks to the gear box or tail shaft. The mounting ears on the gear box are in good condition with no modifications or repairs. The shift plate is in-tact and also unbroken. This transmission is locked up, the main shaft does not spin by hand. The final two pictures shows the inside of the bear box to be very dry with all internal components covered in rust. This unit should be considered a core, for parts or rebuild only. It will not operate properly in it's current state and will likely need some new parts during the rebuild process.
