BMW Getrag 240 5-Speed Manual Transmission
For sale is a transmission came out of a 1991 BMW E30 318is with around 194K. The transmission in good working condition. The transmission has no leaks between the casings. The seals seem to be in good condition but would recommend replacement. There are no cracks in the aluminum casing. The threads for the fill and drain plugs are in good shape and are not stripped. All the bearings and synchros are in good condition. The transmission doesn't wine or pop out of gear. All gear are smooth and spin freely.
This transmission can fit many different year and model BMW's.

*NOTE: there is a
piece
of the casting missing on the top right side of the back housing but that has zero effect on how the
transmission
is mounting*
